Privacy Statement

You might have noticed, we don't have a cookie preference pop-up. It's because we don't use any cookies on this site, we don't track your info and we don't have any intention of selling your info. Heck, we don't even let you use a credit card on the site.

That's because we actually respect your privacy and security so, when you're registering your car, or wondering why we're using paper forms... it's because we're very intentionally doing this low-tech and old-school.

It's the 21st century. Your data will be breached at some point, but not by us. We don't store it. The closest we come to that is if you use the online car registration and then your info is on a google doc with only two people authorized to see it, it's not hosted on our servers, and it's all secured by a third party with way more practice than us. Note that you won't be putting your card info there, either.

You might wonder: "Isn't that kind of a pain and generate more work for you?"
Yep, but the alternative is having to either pay for some very expensive security solutions and pass the cost to you guys or, worse, forego the security and just hope for the best, leaving y'all at risk. We can't see ourselves doing either of those things.

Remember, CMB just wants everyone to be safe.
